California What to Expect

Before you book, you will need:

• a Valid Form of ID such as
  • Driver’s License
  • State ID
  • US Passport
  • Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Proof of Residence (i.e. utility bill, credit card statement) if your ID does not list a California address
• Medical History and/or Medical Records
  • medical records can be sent to records@dubermedical.com or faxed to 937-709-5229
• An email account you readily have access to for appointment confirmation and card activation emails
• Form of Payment
  • Duber Medical accepts all major credit cards
  • at this time, we do not accept insurance due to federal law

Once you’ve scheduled and PAID for your medical marijuana virtual consultation, you will receive a confirmation email from Duber Medical with the date, time and doctor you will be seeing, as well as a hyperlink for the video chat. 

Please login to the video chat waiting room a few minutes before your appointment. You will enter a virtual waiting room and the doctor will admit you to the video chat when he or she is ready for you. You will have a virtual consultation to discuss your medical history and condition with the doctor and at the end of the appointment, the doctor will indicate whether or not you qualify for medical marijuana. 

If you qualify, you will receive an email from Duber Medical within an hour of your appointment. The email will contain TWO attachments:

1. A personal treatment plan customized by your physician
2. A Duber Medical cannabis card with contact information for any California dispensary to validate that you are a medical cardholder 

When you visit a dispensary, please save a copy of your Duber Medical cannabis card and take it with. Contact information for our office is on your Duber Medical cannabis card for dispensaries to verify that you are a medical marijuana patient with Duber Medical. 

Dispensaries may call or text Duber Medical at 833-977-2424 to verify medical card status, or email us at info@dubermedical.com. 

The Duber Medical cannabis card is all you need to visit a California dispensary and receive medical marijuana patient discounts. Any patient who wishes to register with the state of California should indicate this to their physician during their appointment as well as email records@dubermedical.com once their appointment is complete.

Your physician will complete the necessary paperwork for the state registration and the form will be emailed to the email address on file within one business day after your appointment. 

Registration with the state of California must be done in person. Additional details on registering in your county can be found on the state website here.
